Our Congress, The Pentagon, and Kansas Citizens: Socialism at Work Still Favors the Elite

Socialism is widespread in the United States:  From paying our lawmakers with our tax money, to paying for our military, and even helping our neighbors out with food assistance moneys.

Interestingly, only our neighbors are the ones held accountable for what they do with their ‘free ride’.  Our lawmakers aren’t held accountable for what they do with their government salary check and they go on vacation without addressing major national issues, they hold our federal budget hostage over personal beliefs, they waste their time and our money voting on issues that are deemed law by the supreme court.  Our Pentagon sees no reason to own up to an 800 million dollar discrepancy – that’s our tax money you know.  $800 million dollars worth of socialized money that has been lost, misappropriated, and wasted.

And yet:  those souls in Kansas who turn to the government in their time of need, our fellow brothers and sisters, are bound by law to survive on only $25 a day.

$800 million/$25 dollars – who’s wasting your money?

Socialism is alive and well in the United States, no matter how much we try to deny its existence or its viability.   It’s also heavily bent towards favoring the ones doling out the money to themselves, the rest of us can apparently go starve.

Time to re-think a few things.

Yours, Frankie
